Den Norske Opera
For the Norwegian Opera in Bjørvika, Sias has, among other things, carried out interior steelwork, stairs and railings. We delivered the steel structure for the main staircase in the atrium. The stairs were later covered with oak, and we installed stainless handrails. On the outside of the facade, we supplied acid-resistant handrails and railings. It is also Sias who has created “She Lies” which floats in the harbor basin outside the Opera.
Det nye Munchmuseet
For the new Munch Museum being built in Bjørvika, we supply, among other things, secondary steel, steel structures and framing.
Nytt Nasjonalmuseum
For the New National Museum in Oslo, we are a proud supplier of, among other things, stairs, railings, brass handrails, brass grates and walkways in technical rooms.
Horten Indre Havneby
Horten Indre Havneby is now being transformed into an attractive, new district. The construction of the first construction stage with 51 apartments is underway. We supply, among other things, galvanized and lacquered railings for balconies and roof terraces, and French balconies. We also supply 2 steel stairs with lattice steps on the outside. Inside, we supply lacquered handrails and double hand rails for stairs.
Campus Ås
For Campus Ås, the new veterinary building, we supply sheet cladding for stairs, window fittings, door frames and steel structures, among other things.
Norled
Norled’s boats that run from Oslo to Nesodden are converted to battery electric operation, they currently run on liquid natural gas. MS “Kongen” and MS “Queen” have been completed, while work on MS “Prinsen” is now underway.
Fjell skole
We manufacture and install double hand runners for Fjell skole in Drammen. The hand runner is made of black steel that we have treated with owatrol. In addition, we supply, among other things, external stairs.
Sykkelstativ
Beautiful bicycle racks that we make for a housing association in Fornebu. The birds are laser cut. The racks are painted in the desired colour.
Toppåsen skole
For Toppåsen primary school in Oslo, we produced and installed play railings, handrails and stainless corner fittings. Play railings and handrails were powder coated according to the customer’s wishes.
Nordvoll skole
For Nordvoll School in Oslo, we supply, among other things, bicycle racks, grates, galvanized columns and a gate to the bicycle shed, and stainless handrails inside and outside.
Dronningensgate
We produced and installed 2 portals for Dronningengate in Oslo. The portals are powder-coated white. Lights were later installed for the portals that will illuminate the street.
Tomtebrygga
Tomtebrygga has become a beautiful building consisting of both a hotel and apartments. Among other things, we have delivered French balconies, glass railings for balconies, play railings and glass railings indoors.
Solum vanntårn
Spiral staircase with elevated handrail and door delivered to Solum water tower. The stairs are galvanized and have non-slip steps.
She Lies
“She Lies” was designed by the Italian artist Monica Bonvicini, and is part of the decoration for the Opera. The 16 meter high “iceberg” made of steel and glass has been produced and assembled by SIAS under the supervision of Art in Public Spaces (Koro).
Ormsund buffersone
The Ormsund buffer zone was ready in the spring of 2019. We delivered, among other things, diving boards, swimming stairs, steel for the piers and steel for parkour. Bathing stairs and diving boards are first galvanized before being powder coated in the desired colour.
Sydskogen skole
In autumn 2019, Sydskogen School was ready as Norway’s first Swan-labelled school. We have delivered and installed the structural steel.
Drøbaksbadet
For Drøbaksbadet, we supplied, among other things, steel stairs and internal railings. On the outside, we have, among other things, supplied ladders, acid-resistant railings, glass railings and glass canopies. We have also clad the facade with lacquered aluminum stretch metal sheets. We have clad the facade of the transformer house with expanded metal sheets of corten steel.
Aker Brygge
For an office building at Aker Brygge, we manufactured and installed stairs, bridges and glass railings with stainless double hand rails.
Hakkasan
For the Ling Ling Hakkasan restaurant at Aker Brygge, we extended the lift shaft internally by 1 floor. We also supplied a galvanized staircase with an arched central baluster for external use with rifled steps and a play railing.
Dikeveien
For Europris’ new head office in Dikeveien, Fredrikstad, we delivered glass railings, lacquered player railings and stainless handrails
LHL Klinikkene Gardermoen
For LHL Klinikkenne Gardermoen, we supplied, among other things, glass railings indoors, and stairs and railings outside.
Akers Mek Restaurant
For Akers Mek restaurant at Aker Brygge, we delivered stairs and flat iron stile railings. The play railing is owatrol-treated to get the tough, dark surface. On some sections, glass is fitted on the inside of the play railing to prevent falling objects. A simple stainless handrail is installed in the stairs. We have also delivered load-bearing structures, columns and beams.
